Jimmy Candelaria is the driven owner and operator of Blessings International Comfort Cuisine, a food truck with a simple and relatable concept: it's all about tasty, delicious and bold food…with something to say!
Mission Statement: We don't need to look for perfect people to be a blessing to. We need to look for people that need to be shown the unfailing, undeserved mercy & kindness of God.
Personality, quality and vision: these are the things that make the difference between a memorable foodie experience and another lousy diner. With such a mindset, we tribe to welcome our customers with a unique selection of gourmet bistro food and excellent coffee brews, valuing quality, craftsmanship and experience: because truly great flavors need to be savored!
We are aiming to kickstart the brand launching with the food truck formula, constantly growing in popularity for both providers and customers: it is cost-effective, trendy and brand-friendly, in line with out business goals and quest for quality. Later along the way, we are planning on moving to the classic "Brick and Mortar" format, providing fine fast food to customers.
Blessings International Comfort Cuisine is all about supporting the community: we are going to provide a transitional option to assist veterans and those looking for a second chance by supplying employment, resources and training in our industry. Hopefully, we'll manage to open a restaurant and a related non-profit organization within a five years window.

Having honorably served my country for 23 years in the military, I've been drawn to leading, mentoring and assisting individuals looking for a direction or a support structure. I would love to preserve these values within my entrepreneurial career, running my business with a blend of social awareness, community spirit and dedication to quality. As a disabled veteran, I learned how important it is to learn how to take care of each other, so I am particularly motivated to make a difference with the vision and goals of this business.
